The company was established in the early years of this century when the Sergio Bonfanti family purchased a small but well-located vineyard in Valpolicella. Bonfanti Vini srl was born from a close bond with the local area and its agricultural products, as well as an interest in winemaking. This company exemplifies the practice of small-scale but important wine production in Valpolicella. Initially the intention was to produce wine for self-consumption. Collaboration with top oenologists led to the production of very high quality wines.
