The “Monte Cillario Società Agricola” was founded in 2009, by Marchesini Family, generations of farmer, united to the surroundings and to the production in Valpolicella, since 1886. Our visioni is based, beyond the ancient familiar tradition, on advanced tecnology and harmony: tecnology means working with selected system and machineries, harmony lies in the fluency of the process, that respects the natural road of wine transformation. Our philosophy is to create great wines, preserving every natural element given by the vineyard. The cultivated area is about 30 hectars, we harvest Valpolicella’s typical red grapes, such as Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara, and others, that allows the complete and accurate expression of the area. Located in Parona, immediately outside Verona, it’s the first winery on the street that goes to Valpolicella. Inside it happen all the production phases: collection, transformation of the grapes, set aside and dry the best grapes to produce Amarone, fining, bottling and storage.
