Our aim is to always achieve Best Quality. An ambitiousgoal, that we reach collecting grapes by hand, following all phases of processing personally, making wine with only 60% of the harvest. We produce around 180.000 bottles a year: a pure Distillate of Quality.
While the first vineyards extended to 3,5 hectares, at present Cantine Buglioni boasts 46 hectares planted with the traditional indigenous varietals of Corvina,Corvinone,Rondinella and Molinara, and the recent planting of Oseleta,Croatina and the white Garganega.In the 14 hectares of vineyards set nearby the Winery, the training system is double pergola, a traditional method of the Valpolicella Valley; the remaining vineyards, placed in Sant'Ambrogio and San Pietro in Cariano are trained by the guyot system.
The light,dark,alluvial soil, rich in gravel, meticulous wine pruning and scrupulous control techniques ensure a production of prime quality grapes. A part of these is immediately Selected for drying, to obtain the most full-bodied and intense wines of our range.
