Near the city of Verona, in the hills of Valpolicella, lies Azienda Valentina Cubi. The family owned estate, led by its namesake Valentina Cubi, consist of some 13 hectares of vineyards and olive groves. The vineyards, all organic certified, deliver the raw material for the production of genuine Valpolicella, Amarone and Recioto based on the indigenous Corvina grape variety. For the company Valentina Cubi the organic production system has never been an orientation but a vocation. The Certification started with 3 hectares in 2010 and has been extended to the entire estate from 2014. The winery adopts agronomic and oenological techniques suited to the production of “Wines of the Terroir”, in Italian “Vini di Territorio”, which respect and represent precisely their terroir of origin. The wines are fresher, harmonious, with a lingering hint of minerals. Tasters and experienced journalists often define these wines as the "Burgundy style wines from Valpolicella", because in them you appreciate the elegance, the harmony and freshness, without frills or superstructures.
